These programs are often started by people that have a lot of Axies and/or breed them. They create brand-new Axie Infinity accounts, transfer a team to this account and then enable someone else to play with these accounts.
Axie Infinity Scholarships has few advantages for individuals:

- People without lots of money can start playing the Axie Infinity. Earning up to 60 or 70% of all SLP, earned in game. Players can safe up until they can afford to buy their own team.
- The total number of people that can afford to play the game will increase, thereby resulting in more active users, more purchased Axies and an overall bigger demand for Smooth Love Potion – SLP and Axie Infinity – AXS.

Do note that there is no need to share your in-real name, address, private keys, or other personal information.
Scholarships are usually wondering if you already have experience with playing the game, on which device you play (iOS, Android or Desktop) and how much SLP you think you can earn per day (Average between 150-200 SLP).

Axie Infinity Token
Axie Infinity uses two different tokens, namely AXS and SLP.
AXS stands for Axie Infinity Shard and is used for breeding axies, earning staking rewards, and a few other things.
For scholarships, SLP is more important. SLP stands for Smooth Love Potion. When playing the game, users can earn SLP tokens. These tokens can be used for breeding or can be sold on the market.
How much you earn really depends on yourself. Most scholars earn between 150-200 SLP per day, and most common is a 60/40% split between the players and Scholarship. This is because the Scholarship bought the Axies you use for your team.
This means that if you were to play 30 days and earn 175 SLP. You will earn a total of 3,150 SLP per month. (175 SLP * 30 days * 0.6 (60%)
At a current price of $0.135 per SLP token, that means $425 USD/month, or 20.700 Philippine Peso (29th June, 2021).
Axie Infinity Marketplace
The Axie Infinity Marketplace is probably the most used part of Axie Infinity besides the game itself, and can be found here.
Throughout the past 30 days, the marketplace saw a trading volume of over $110 million USD with over 400,000 axies sold.
On the marketplace, users can buy and sell Axies. The platform takes a 4.25% fee when players sell their Axies. Meaning the team behind Axie Infinity generated up to $5M USD in revenue throughout June on Axies alone.
Scholars don’t typically use the marketplace, unless you earned enough SLP to buy your own team!
How to cash out your Smooth Love Potion – SLP?
The team is currently working on building a decentralized exchange directly on Ronin, which will enable users to swap ETH, AXS and SLP tokens without any transaction costs (100 free transactions per day) and just some slippage costs.
For now, we would recommend you to cash out your SLP earnings the following way:
- You likely received your SLP tokens in your Ronin wallet address. You can use the Ronin Bridge to withdraw your SLP to your MetaMask wallet on the Ethereum Network.
- When withdrawn, you can send your SLP tokens from your MetaMask wallet to your Binance account.
- In your Binance account, you can sell the SLP tokens and convert them to your local fiat currency. This fiat you then can transfer to your own bank account.
