Hij stal maar liefst 5,6 miljoen euro van mensen die via hem gingen \u2018investeren\u2019 in crypto. Drie jaar geleden, toen hij 24 jaar oud was, richtte hij het bedrijf Bitnexfast op. Bitnexfast zou een investeringsmaatschappij zijn, maar het bleek een grote oplichterij te zijn.<\/p>\n<h2>Pieters gevangenschap<\/h2>\n<p>Hij kreeg een gevangenisstraf van 27 maanden, waarvan 12 voorwaardelijk. Pieter zegt heel veel spijt te hebben van de zwendel, hoewel hij een paar maanden geleden een tweede cryptobedrijf heeft opgericht.<\/p>\n<p>Pieter gaat in beroep tegen de beslissing, aangezien hij het niet eens is met zijn gevangenisstraf.<\/p>\n<p>Met dit bedrijf zou hij via daghandel rendement halen voor zijn investeerders. Hij beloofde zijn potenti\u00eble klanten een rendement van 0,5 tot 1 procent per dag. Klanten zouden dat rendement elke dag kunnen verzilveren. Heel veel dus, maar het bleek te mooi om waar te zijn.<\/p>\n<p>De les die hieruit getrokken kan worden, is natuurlijk om altijd alert te blijven. Wees voorzichtig aan wie je je geld geeft.
