VISA's Head of Crypto, Cuy Sheffield, heeft onlangs aangegeven dat hij crypto ineens cool vindt, nadat het eerder als raar werd gezien, door NFT's. Hij heeft een duidelijke toename gezien van het aantal mensen dat ge\u00efnteresseerd is in crypto.<\/p>\n

Crypto en Visa<\/h2>\n

Cuy Sheffield zegt dat hij denkt dat de toenemende belangstelling voor crypto vooral komt doordat de aandacht rond non-fungible tokens (NFT's) zo sterk is toegenomen. Hij ziet ook dat steeds meer Visa-gebruikers in crypto stappen, nadat ze het enige tijd geleden natuurlijk voor alle Visa-gebruikers beschikbaar hebben gemaakt.<\/p>\n

Crypto is ineens cool geworden, zegt hij: "Vroeger was je een beetje raar als je in crypto investeerde." Visa zelf is ook beleggen in NFT's<\/a>, in feite kochten ze een paar maanden geleden CryptoPunk.<\/p>\n

"De mogelijkheid om een digitaal item in meerdere omgevingen te volgen en te benutten, kan opwindende nieuwe kansen betekenen op het gebied van ticketing, gamemuziek, kunst en daarbuiten", herhaalt hij ook. Zelf lijkt hij dus erg van crypto te houden, niet verwonderlijk natuurlijk als Head of Crypto. \u201cEenmaal tokenized, kunnen rechten en eigendom van deze activa naadloos worden overgedragen, wat de liquiditeit en effici\u00ebntie verbetert. Dit heeft het potentieel om de economische kansen en inclusie aanzienlijk te vergroten\u201d, zijn de woorden waarmee hij besloot.<\/p>\n

Het lijkt dus duidelijk dat steeds meer mensen in crypto stappen en erin investeren, terwijl de Head of Crypto bij Visa dit ook aangeeft.
