Hij zei onder meer dat hij digitale activa van het stabiele munttype absoluut als een veiligheid ziet.<\/p>\n<h2>Stablecoin-regelgeving<\/h2>\n<p>Gary Gensler deed deze uitspraken naar aanleiding van een rapport over de regulering van stablecoins dat momenteel wordt samengesteld. In dit rapport wordt vooral ingegaan op hoe stablecoins in de toekomst van pas kunnen komen en hoe overheidsorganisaties hier het beste mee om kunnen gaan.<\/p>\n<p>David Marcus staat volledig achter dit rapport. Hij is een van de topmanagers van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a>. Binnenkort gaat Facebook zelf ook meedoen in de cryptowereld, nadat bekend was gemaakt dat ze met een digitale portemonnee, Novi genaamd, naar buiten zullen komen.<\/p>\n<p>Daarnaast maakt David Marcus deel uit van de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diem.com\/en-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Diem Vereniging<\/a>. Dit is een groep senioren in de technische industrie. Ze komen binnenkort met hun eigen stablecoin, Diem genaamd. Deze stablecoin kan dan tussen Novi-wallets worden verhandeld.<\/p>\n<h2>Een kritische David Marcus<\/h2>\n<p>Zo is David Marcus zelf volop bezig met crypto, stablecoins en hoe deze in de toekomst mogelijk dagelijks gebruikt kunnen worden. Toch blijft hij altijd kritisch.<\/p>\n<p>In een interview met <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yahoo Finance<\/a>, hij zegt bijvoorbeeld dat stablecoins waarschijnlijk verdere regulering nodig hebben als ze ooit onze nieuwe valuta willen worden. Toen hem werd gevraagd: &quot;Hebben we meer regelgeving nodig?&quot;, was zijn antwoord: &quot;Het antwoord is waarschijnlijk ja.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Vervolgens vervolgde hij zijn antwoord door te zeggen dat het belangrijkste punt de bescherming van de klant is.
