Dit is wat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/europe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bloomberg<\/a> brengt uit. Dit bedrag gaat volgens hen volledig naar de allernieuwste technologie\u00ebn zoals blockchain, data-infrastructuur, 5G en andere technieken van dat kaliber.<\/p>\n<h2>De EU-investeringen<\/h2>\n<p>De \u20ac 177 miljard maakt deel uit van een pakket van in totaal \u20ac 750 miljard dat door de lidstaten van de Europese Unie is samengesteld om de economische groei te herstellen na de tijden van crisis veroorzaakt door het coronavirus.<\/p>\n<p>Ursula von der Leyen, voorzitter van de Europese Unie, hield afgelopen woensdag een toespraak waarin ze aangaf hoe belangrijk ze het vindt om fors te investeren in digitale technologie\u00ebn. Daarmee doelt ze ook op blockchaintechnologie.<\/p>\n<p>Tot nu toe is er geen specifieke informatie beschikbaar over hoe de investering zal worden verdeeld. Dus hoeveel er precies naar de blockchain gaat is niet bekend, maar dat het een goed teken is dat ze erin gaan investeren staat in ieder geval vast.<\/p>\n<p>Eerder dit jaar hield de Europese Unie zich al bezig met blockchaintechnologie toen ze bijvoorbeeld kozen voor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iota.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stichting Iota<\/a> als het bedrijf dat deel zou uitmaken van het bouwen van een Europese Blockchain Services-infrastructuur.<\/p>\n<p>Twee jaar eerder, in april 2019, lanceerde de EU al een <a href=\"https:\/\/inatba.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">International Association of Trusted Blockchain Applications<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Het is dus duidelijk dat de EU erg ge\u00efnteresseerd is in blockchaintechnologie en er toekomst in ziet, anders zouden ze er niet zo actief in investeren. Dit is natuurlijk heel positief.
