    Appels en Peren vergelijken\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>

    Hoewel Bitcoin vaak in de eerste plaats wordt gezien als een opslagplaats van waarde, heeft Ethereum nog andere onderscheidende kwaliteiten die het onderscheiden. Bitcoin wordt vaak vergeleken met digitaal goud, dat dient als onderpand of als middel om rijkdom op lange termijn te behouden. Ethereum, aan de andere kant, biedt een platform voor verdere innovatie door middel van gedecentraliseerde applicaties (dApps).<\/span><\/p>

    Wie heeft een aanvraag ingediend voor een Spot Ethereum ETF?<\/span><\/h2>

    Op dit moment hebben verschillende vermogensbeheerders aanvragen ingediend voor Ethereum ETF's, allemaal bekende namen die betrokken waren bij eerdere Bitcoin ETF aanvragen.<\/span><\/p>

    Dit zijn onder andere Volatility Shares, Bitwise, Grayscale, VanEck, Roundhill, Proshares, BlackRock, Ark Invest, 21shares en Fidelity, dat zijn Ethereum ETF-aanvragen zag. <\/span>afgewezen<\/span><\/a> door de financi\u00eble waakhond van de Verenigde Staten, de Securities and Exchange Commission - SEC.<\/span><\/p>

    Wanneer Ethereum ETF?<\/span><\/h2>

    De vraag is, we weten het gewoon niet. Wanneer de spot Ethereum ETF precies wordt goedgekeurd ligt in de handen van slechts \u00e9\u00e9n entiteit, de SEC.<\/span><\/p>

    De investeringsbank suggereert dat hoewel de wachttijd voor de goedkeuring van spot Ethereum ETF's misschien niet zo lang is als de periode van 26 maanden die voorafging aan de goedkeuring van spot Bitcoin ETF's, het lang genoeg zou kunnen zijn na de komende presidentsverkiezingen in november 2024.<\/span><\/p>
