Het neemt een agressieve houding aan bij het afdwingen van deze visie door middel van juridische stappen. De naamgeving van extra tokens in de Coinbase-rechtszaak geeft aan dat de SEC de cryptosector blijft onderzoeken en mogelijk ook andere populaire coins als effecten beschouwt.
