Wees je bewust van cryptocurrency-zwendel.<\/h4>\n

Een andere cryptocurrency-zwendel waarbij individuen gewond zijn geraakt, is: aangehouden door de politie in Nederland<\/a>. 'Helaas' is het relatief eenvoudig om een cryptocurrency token\/munt aan te maken. Op zich is dat helemaal niet erg. Maar helaas zijn er ook mensen die deze mogelijkheid misbruiken om mensen op te lichten. Dit gebeurt bijvoorbeeld door middel van pomp- en dumptechnieken.<\/p>\n

In pump & dump-scenario's beloven partijen een hoog rendement door al hun volgers aan te moedigen een specifieke cryptocurrency te kopen om de prijs op te pompen en anderen te lokken. Zodra dit gebeurt, verkopen deze partijen zelf hun tokens aan deze mensen voor winst, waardoor onwetende gebruikers achterblijven.<\/p>\n

De politie heeft nu in Nederland twee mensen aangehouden die zich volgens de politie schuldig hebben gemaakt aan deze verderfelijke praktijken.<\/p>\n

Volgens de politie zijn de verdachten betrokken bij het exchange\/crypto handelsplatform Coinhouse.eu.
\n"Als vermoedelijke eigenaar van deze handelssite worden ze verdacht van het verduisteren van geld van klanten en oplichting", aldus een politieverklaring van vorige week vrijdag.<\/p>\n

Dit is slechts een van de voorbeelden van 'scams' die we tegenwoordig tegenkomen. Vergelijkbaar met tapijttrekkingen waarbij liquiditeit wordt getrokken door (nieuwe) projecten op Uniswap, waardoor hun tokenhouders niets anders dan stof achterlaten. Of exit-scams waarbij projectteams besluiten het geld van mensen te stelen nadat ze met succes geld hebben ingezameld via bijvoorbeeld hun initi\u00eble muntenaanbieding.<\/p>\n
