Naast het aanbieden van cryptocurrency wil het dus deze in voorzien aan institutionele klanten en deze veilig bewaren.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wat is Nasdaq?\u00a0<\/span><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nasdaq is een wereldwijde online markt waar men effecten kan verhandelen. Het bestaat uit 29 markten in de Verenigde Staten en Europa. Het heeft \u2018s werelds grootste technologiebedrijven genoteerd.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Concurrent van Coinbase<\/span><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De gigantische Amerikaanse beurs is klaar voor de volgende stap, en de custody van Bitcoin en andere crypto te verlenen aan institutionele spelers. Hiermee betreed het de overvolle markt van institutionele bitcoin bewaring diensten en wordt het een directe concurrent van op de beurs genoteerde en gevestigd bedrijf <a href=\"\/nl\/exchange\/coinbase\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Coinbase<\/a>en andere bedrijven als BitGo en Gemini. Waarmee het tot voor kort samenwerkte maar nooit concurreerde.<\/span><\/p><h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wat nu?<\/span><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het nieuwe aanbod van Nasdaq heeft nog tijd nodig alvorens goedgekeurd te worden door de regulators. Wat wel zeker is, is dat al deze ontwikkelingen interessante gevolgen hebben voor de manier waarop instellingen Bitcoin gaan gebruiken.
