Op verdenking van betrokkenheid bij het verhullen van criminele geldstromen en het faciliteren van witwassen door het mixen van cryptocurrencies via de mengservice <a href=\"https:\/\/tornado.cash\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tornado Cash<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wat is Tornado Cash?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tornado Cash is een mixservice voor cryptocurrencies die het mogelijk maakt om de herkomst of bestemming van cryptocurrencies te verbergen. Mensen die deze mixservice gebruiken, doen dit om hun anonimiteit en privacy op de blockchain te vergroten.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maar ook personen met verkeerde intenties kunnen gebruik maken van deze open source code. Cybercriminelen, die hun sporen willen uitwissen bij geld verkregen uit criminele activiteiten. Volgens onderzoekers is er voor ten minste een miljard dollar aan cryptocurrencies van criminele oorsprong door Tornado Cash gegaan, en waarop winst gemaakt is.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Komt je in de problemen wanneer je Tornado Cash hebt gebruikt?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Als je ooit geld hebt ontvangen van Tornado Cash, dat nu een gesanctioneerde entiteit is kan jouw account besmet zijn. Dit kan een probleem zijn voor elke Amerikaanse burger. Maar na de zien de arrestatie van een vermoedelijke developer, zou het een zorg kunnen zijn van elke TC-gebruiker in de '<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.securitymadesimple.org\/cybersecurity-blog\/fourteen-eyes-surveillance-explained\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">veertien ogen<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#039; landen, waaronder Nederland en Belgi\u00eb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wat hoogstwaarschijnlijk zal gebeuren, is dat toezichthouders grote transacties gaan onderzoeken volgens modellen die worden gebruikt om &#039;echte&#039; kwaadwillenden te identificeren. Het wordt een logistieke nachtmerrie voor onderzoekers, dat is zeker. Maar je moet r<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">beseffen dat het ontvangen van ETH via Tornado Cash niet genoeg zou moeten zijn om vervolging te riskeren.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wat is er met Tornado Cash gebeurd?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na de sancties van de VS zijn de deposito's afgenomen en werd een grote stijging van de opnames vastgesteld. Als we naar de offici\u00eble site kijken, is de site afgesloten. De betekenis van regelgeving voor DeFi wordt heel re\u00ebel. Sommigen speculeren dat dit het begin van het einde is van de gedecentraliseerde financi\u00eble component van crypto.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maar veel gebruikers zouden niet verbaasd zijn om een paar dozijn gloednieuwe mixers te zien die in niet-Amerikaanse rechtsgebieden zijn gemaakt met de code die is geforkt van Tornado Cash.
