Waar investeerders het een aantal maanden geleden nog hadden over de gedachte dat Bitcoin naar een prijs van $100.000 zou gaan, staat de prijs inmiddels ruim onder de $30.000 en zien velen het somber in.<\/p>\n<p>\nOp zo\u2019n moment wordt er altijd gediscussieerd over wat nou de reden zou zijn van de daling. Heeft het te maken met omstandigheden in de wereld buiten Bitcoin om? Is het vertrouwen in de blockchain technologie weg? Of zien de financi\u00eble markten er op dit moment \u00fcberhaupt gewoon slecht uit? Mining data lijkt nu een mogelijk antwoord te bieden.<\/p>\n<h2>De teloorgang van Bitcoin<\/h2>\n<p>Het blijkt namelijk dat verschillende grote mining bedrijven begonnen zijn met het verkopen van hun Bitcoin, waar ze deze eerst op de balans lieten staan. Riot Blockchain is een voorbeeld van zo\u2019n groot mining bedrijf. In april verkocht Riot Blockchain maar liefst 250 Bitcoin, wat destijds neer kwam op ongeveer $10 miljoen. Een ander voorbeeld is Cathedra Bitcoin, een vergelijkbaar mining bedrijf dat in dezelfde maand 235 Bitcoin verkocht.<\/p>\n<p>Het feit dat de grootste mining partijen in de wereld duidt er waarschijnlijk op dat ook veel particuliere miners hun Bitcoin flink aan het dumpen zijn. Dit alles bij elkaar zorgt er natuurlijk voor dat er vrij veel verkoopdruk op Bitcoin staat, wat op zijn beurt weer zorgt voor een daling in de prijs.<\/p>\n<p>Dit zou dus zeker als \u00e9\u00e9n van de redenen van de daling van Bitcoin gezien kunnen worden, maar van de andere kant zou je ook weer kunnen beargumenteren dat dit juist een gevolg is van iets anders, bijvoorbeeld de actuele financi\u00eble staat van de wereld.<\/p>\n<p>Het blijft allemaal speculeren.
