De cryptocurrency exchange wil dus concurrent Coinbase achterna en zou dit zelfs dit jaar nog willen doen. Vorige maand voltooide Blockchain.com nog een investeringsronde op een waardering van $14 miljard. De market cap van Coinbase is op dit moment ruim $30 miljard en Blockchain.com hoopt dat de beursgang voor hen de manier de groei door te maken die benodigd is om Coinbase bij te houden. Blockchain.com draait een handelsvolume van $38,8 miljoen per 24 uur en is daarmee een stuk kleiner dan Coinbase, dat een handelsvolume van bijna $3 miljard draait.<\/p>\n<h2>De mogelijke beursgang van Blockchain.com<\/h2>\n<p>Blockchain.com is \u00e9\u00e9n van de eerste cryptocurrency exchanges. Deze werd namelijk al opgericht in 2011, in York in het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Blockchain.com heeft een belangrijke rol gespeeld in de initi\u00eble groei van Bitcoin, daar het als eerste Bitcoin blockchain explorer ooit diende en tussen 2012 en 2020 goed was voor 28% van \u00e1lle Bitcoin transacties. Naast het zijn van een cryptocurrency exchange, biedt Blockchain.com ook ondersteuning aan traditionele, institutionele investeerders die graag de stap naar crypto willen maken. Dit doen zij door data, grafieken en analyses aan te leveren.<\/p>\n<p>Het maken van de stap naar de beurs lijkt onder cryptobedrijven steeds populairder te worden. Na de exchange Coinbase zou nu dus ook de exchange Blockchain.com de stap naar de beurs willen maken. Dat zijn niet de enige cryptobedrijven met interesse in de beurs. Ook MicroStrategy zou je inmiddels als een cryptobedrijf kunnen zien, daar het bedrijf maar liefst 125.051 BTC in handen heeft. Daarnaast maken ook steeds meer mining bedrijven de stap naar de beurs.
