Tijdens deze aflevering vertelde hij hoe ze ervoor gaan zorgen dat Eth2 een succes wordt.<\/p>\n<h3>Het plan van Vitalik<\/h3>\n<p>Hij legde bijvoorbeeld een vijfdelige roadmap uit waarin de precieze stappen worden geschetst die ervoor moeten zorgen dat Eth2 een succes wordt. Het belangrijkste, zegt hij, is om de hoogst mogelijke schaalbaarheid en decentralisatie te bereiken. Hij zegt dat het daarvoor belangrijk is dat Ethereum wendbaarder en lichtgewicht wordt zodat meer mensen er gebruik van kunnen maken.<\/p>\n<p>Vitalik Buterin publiceerde begin december 2021 ook een artikel genaamd &quot;Endgame&quot;. Daarin voorspelde hij dat uiteindelijk alle blockchains tot \u00e9\u00e9n zullen worden gevormd. De tools die alle blockchains bieden zullen dan ook via deze ene blockchain beschikbaar zijn.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>De eerste stap in het proces noemt Vitalik &#039;The Merge&#039;. In deze stap wordt de volledige stap van Proof of Work naar Proof of Stake gemaakt.<\/li>\n<li>De tweede stap heet de Surge. Hier zal de schaalbaarheid en bandbreedte moeten worden vergroot.<\/li>\n<li>Daarna wordt sharding volledig ge\u00efmplementeerd, waardoor het proces op ongeveer 80% komt.<\/li>\n<li>Dan is er &#039;The Verge&#039;, waar gebruikers hun eigen nodes kunnen gaan runnen.<\/li>\n<li>De laatste stappen zijn &#039;The Purge&#039; en &#039;The Splurge&#039;, die historische gegevens zullen verwijderen en nog meer updates zullen maken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Het hele proces zal nog zo&#039;n 6 jaar duren, schat Buterin.
