Within a year, 62% of financial institutions invest in crypto

A recent survey study by Nickel Digital Asset Management found that 62% of financial institutions will invest in crypto within a year. They expect this to significantly increase their annual revenue.

Nickel Digital Asset Management Survey

Survey shows that institutional investors have a strong growing interest in crypto. They see it as a way to dramatically increase their annual sales and therefore expect to invest in the digital assets within a year.

The surveyed include only financial institutions that do not currently invest in crypto, so it is actually a sign of a growing interest in crypto from “serious” parties. In particular, interest in Bitcoin (BTC) is high.

The survey included 50 asset managers and 50 institutional investors. Those surveyed came from the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and the United Arab Emirates, among others. The survey was conducted between May and June 2021.

Why are they suddenly going to invest now?

So what is the reason that these serious parties now suddenly decide to invest in crypto? First, of course, it will have to do with the huge bull market we have been experiencing. The institutions have realized that huge returns are possible within crypto.

Also, 47% indicate that they see the possibility of achieving large long-term returns with crypto. In addition, 44% indicate that they see the growing confidence in crypto as an important factor. Another 41% indicate that they do want to invest in crypto now because, according to them, the regulation is starting to allow it more and more.
