What is Solana?

Solana is fast, secure and censorship resistant and has seen significant interest from the cryptocurrency space throughout the last couple of months and built a large ecosystem.
What is Solana Mobile Stack software – SMS?
In addition to the announcement of the Saga, Solana announced the launch of the Solana Mobile Stack – SMS, which is a web3 layer for Solana built on the phone.
SMS will consist of a number of products including a seed vault, a custody solution, a mobile wallet adapter. It is a framework for developers to create mobile experiences for wallets and apps on Solana.
Solana Mobile Stack – SMS will function on all mobile devices, not just Android ones, claims the company.
Solana Pay will work similarly to Apple Pay and Google Pay, where the user will be able to transact using the Solana cryptocurrency or tokens.
The service provides a new set of libraries for wallets and apps, allowing developers to create rich mobile experiences on Solana.
Saga is designed and manufactured by OSOM, a leading Android development company that made OSOM’s OV1, the successor to the Essential Phone.
What are the specs?
The device will come with 512 GB of storage with a 6.67-inch OLED display. Look at the table below to view the full solana Saga specs.
How much will the solana phone cost?
The device will cost $1,000 and can be preordered with a $100 deposit here. The arrival of the Saga is estimated in Q1 of 2023.
